Events
School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.
Our school event may include:
- school orientation days
- sports carnivals
- open day and school tours
- Harmony Week and Book Week events
- excursions and incursions
- performances, concerts or school productions
- fundraising, charity and community events
- award assemblies
- graduation and other celebrations.

Science Day
During Term 3 we celebrate National Science Week by holding a Science Day at Broadwater Public School. This day is a fantastic celebration of creativity, curiosity and hands-on learning. Our students engage in a variety of fun and educational activities that spark their interest in science and STEM.
Kindergarten Orientation
In Term 4 we invite our new Kindy's to attend three orientation sessions at our school. Our new enrolments join in with our current Kindergarten class, with each session carefully designed to help children feel settled and excited about starting school. We offer our families an information session where parents and carers can connect with staff, other families and the wider school community.
Father's Day Breaky
During Term 3 we hold Read, Create, Celebrate Week and on the Friday before Father's Day we invite our families to join us for a delicious breaky and games on the field. This is a great day, celebrating the amazing Father figures in our student's lives.
